Some energy from the low out west is moving overhead tonight causing strong lifting. The main limiting factor for this system is the lack of moisture. Light snowfall and freezing drizzle are possible with temperatures falling into the 20's. This could cause some bridges/overpasses to become slick in the morning. The main hazard areas will be between the I-35 corridor and HWY 75, extending outward from each freeway by about 25 miles. Most locations will only see light flurries, however, some areas could luck out and pick up a dusting on cars and grass.
I'll have an update tomorrow on the possibility of some more light snowfall/flurries tomorrow night. I need to analyze some more data before I make a final forecast for the event, tomorrow.
**Also keep in mind a lot of this precip is not showing up on the normal radar in case you're wondering why you can't track the snow-bands.
